control societies and the dependency habit

i came across an interesting post by another (kuwaiti?) blogger with a perspective on kuwaiti business and society and how its run by people with the aim of creating dependencies. short and worth a read:

i realize this was not the point of the article but the implicit and explicit US kowtowing to Israel is always reason for amazement i find.

another dusty day in kuwait

this weekend looks to be a disappointment.. too bad. was planning a sea voyage tomorrow but it doesn't look like it will let up anytime soon.
